For thousands of years, beeswax has had a wide variety of applications; it has been found in the tombs of Egypt, in wrecked Viking ships, and in Romanian ruins.
Historically, it has been commonly used as candles – the oldest intact beeswax candles north of the Alps were found in the Alamannic graveyard of Oberflacht,
Germany, dating to 6th/7th century AD.
Beeswax is a natural ioniser – emitting negative ions when burned. The flame burns bright, and this beeswax is
additive and residue free, unlike many that are soy & paraffin blended. The lovely honey scent makes them a perfect
deodoriser and perfect alternative to any tealight candle.
